about blogs....

Make the different blogs during this semester was very fun and educational, I learned new words and I think I can now write more easily. Although some topics were a bit boring, but nor all them.

Compared to the first blog and the last, now I can make less time to write a text in English and I do not doubt much when I write and also now I know many new words and how to write them.

In the future, I would like us as students to decide on a greater number of topics for the realization of blogs, in order to motivate students to write more.

I would like us to write about more controversial and national contingency topics, for example abortion, if we are for or against and make a debate with the different arguments that we have, gay marriage is also a big topics. When writing about these important topics and that generates more than one opinion, open a debate to know the different positions that exist in the university.

In short, the English 3 branch was very interesting and fun, I  never worked with this methodology in the past, at first I did not think it would help me too much in my learning but actually help me very much with my English .

the eyes...

The humanity needed millions years to be the machine more perfect and wonderful, but also all the animal are  big machine of synchronization, in this post I will written about the eye. The eyes is considerate one of the organ more complicated.

The principal function of the eye is transform a wave electromagnetic in an electrochemical impulses to  brain, when this organ process this sign and then we can see c: (obviously the process is more complicated).

In the some theories of evolution with respect to formation of eye. first a  bacteria was sensible to light, then years later present a structure that could see the preys but vaguely, like this the evolution of the eye was accomplished.  

The eye measure is around about 2.5 cm is located in the head and in the human we have two but in some animals present more of two or haven´t. is interesting how all the animal have a different form and the function.

The illnesses that you can have are many, but the principals are, cataract, Glaucoma, Refractive errors (for example Hyperopia and myopia), Conjunctivitis, etc. for warn this illnesses, is necessary have regular checkups. In some cases, the persons lost the sight for  old age.

in the laboratory...

My favorite subject is all the related with laboratories for example Laboratory techniques, the laboratory of chemistry (I and II), in reality all the laboratories I love it. The classes is very different with each other’s, because depends of the subjects and the years of the career.

Generally in the laboratory we synthesize reactive from other or also we learn what to do with the reagent and equipment of laboratory (laboratory techniques). Sometime the process of the practical is difficult but when you make the crystals or you get your products is very satisfactory. This year I have laboratory of organic chemistry and we make a report with the efficiency of the reaction, for me is the greater difficulty, I hope that this semester I can pass the subject.

I really like the laboratory because I feel like a little scientific and is very interesting the reaction that happens, the color of the substance, the texture and the form, also is very exciting when we use reagents dangerous.

The bad is that in some practical I broke a test tube and the reagent fell in the table (that day was horrible and stressful) and maybe that can happen again.

A Great Scientific

There are many people in the history that deserve admiration, whether for your works to humanity, or for your convictions to continue with his professions in spite of the censures of society. All know that in the past was very difficult have a professions when you are different  for society, for example Oscar Wilde judged and imprisoned for be homosexual but  he did not give up and today his novels are a classic of literature or also Rosalind Franklin that still not appears in the texts how an important contributor in the structure of DNA.

But in this post I will mention to scientist Barbara McClintock(1902-1992) a great collaborator in the cytogenetics. Doctor in botany and leader of the cytogenetic group, she found of genetic recombination by crossing-over during meiosis (aspect very important in the genetic). Although your first papers was discredit, but only when two scientific  published the same discovery a few years later they gave it the importance it deserved

I choose this scientific for your perseverance and works, also because I like his field of research (plants)

The music and me

All my life I have been listen music, since I was born,  always my father has listened to music on weekends, is how to specie of routine in my family, a day without music is a day wasteful, so I know the different voices about rock, pop, and other types, for example the existence of the 80's are sacred, group like The Clash, Soda Stereo, Nadie, U2, Haddaway, New Order, Depeche Mode, tears for fears and many other are an important part in my family because who can resist dance this songs? I do not and my sister neither.

Obviously I also listen other groups of my time but always I back at the classics. Recently I have been listen music more relaxed and melancholy like Cigarettes after Sex, The 1975, The Verve, Zoé and if I start a mention all the groups that I like it, I would have to use more than 160 words. In my adolescence the group that I was listening always and now don´t is Reik, Camila and other that I don’t remember. 

The instrument that I like is the piano because I think that is very elegant and delicate. 

How the movies also are my obsession, I know the dialogue and songs of my favorite movies when I was a child, for example Tarzan, how also of the movie Spirit, Shrek and Sweeney Todd, the last one is very good, I love it although I don’t know all the songs.

The song that I recommendation for everybody that read my post is Wild Horses- Rolling Stones. This song is the best musical piece in the history (according to me).

In the Past...

I like many photograph, especially of nature but I have an especial obsession with the old photograph. This photos I like so much because you can see the history behind of each one and the events interesting that was happing.

The next photo, I choose because I like the past of the city, no matter which and I like the life and clothes of the people that appear in the photo, is very interesting the thing that the persons make it in the each photo in comparison with today. If I can choose a time, definitely I choose the 60´s but with respect the music and style I choose the 90´s.

The photo was taken it by Sebastian Lopez and the image show the city Santiago, specifically the avenue Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins (Alameda) in the year 1991. How we see in the photo the avenue had many buses, this happen because  there was not regulation in the transport.

My favorite books and movies 😃

                           

All my life I have been see movies, I have many cd in my rooms with any things that you can imagine, but the type that I really liked is the terror and romantic movies. I think that the first one in the last years, have been very bad because the only thing that make the director is scenes of monster that leave at any moments (this is called screamer) with respect to storyline of this movies is completely horrible and bored, the best movies of terror are the old and independent for example “the shining” (is very famous). With respect the romantic movies, I like any one, but if one of the protagonist dead I prefer see others movies. The only exception is “Romeo and Juliet”.

If you want see a movie very interesting, beautiful and with scenes make by painters, the best is “loving Vincent”

With respect the books I can´t choose one, is impossible!! Although I can mention the author that change my life that is Howard Phillips Lovecraft, I love him, your story is simply incredible, sublime, the world that create Howard is very complexity and wonderful. The other author that I like very much is Jane Austen and my favorite book of her is "persuasion". (Others author worthies of mention are Borges, Cortázar, Poe, García Márquez, Wilde, etc.)

The book that I recommend is the Aleph by Borges.
